Center for Nuclear Security Policy Signing Ceremony

On October 2, MIT President Sally Kornbluth hosted the Security Studies Program faculty and senior staff to a private luncheon and signing ceremony to celebrate SSP’s acquisition of a $45 million gift from the Stanton Foundation. With this gift, the program will launch the Center for Nuclear Security Policy, to expand its leading work on the vital issue of global nuclear security. Vipin Narang, the Frank Stanton Professor of Nuclear Security and Political Science at MIT, will serve as the center’s first director.
